A few weeks later, and a lot of sunrises, I decided to go further on my swimming. Instead of only goin' roun' the Fort, I went straight to a farther point. I took it 'till the red abandoned lifeguard's post.
Since that wasn't that bad, a few days later (Feb, 6th, 2012), I went all the way up to "my" entrance of the Dunes beach (half centimeter to the right of my right shoulder). Pretty much 3000m in open water.
I took along my camera and shot some nice pics, as well as movies. After all, I wanted to celebrate it and see it many more times!
Many great views, from the middle of the ocean!
(Actually, that idea came to my mind on the day that the first picture (below) was taken.)
ps: Cabo Frio is a lot better in February, when the majority of the tourists flee. But get out by Carnaval, because it gets too crowded. You can come back right after, though.
